Ecological And Agricultural Development Foundation, Inc. (Eco-Agri) was formally organized August, 11 2008. Through the Initiatives of Mr. Ramon D. Uy, Sr., General Manager of machine Shop Corporation. The aim is to help and assist the small farmers and other sectors to engage into organic farming to address food security issues and concerns of the households and communities. Defined role of the Foundation is to create wealth at the community level for economic sustenance through the implementation of various organic farming practices and renewable/appropriate technology. The Foundation was officially registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) in October 03, 2008. An Amount of PhP 1,000,000.00 Was provided and invested by RU Foundry and Machine Shop Corporation to Start the operations of the Foundation. After one years, Additional amount of PhP 10,000,000.00 was provided by the company to expand the operations not only in Negros but also in Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao areas.

The Foundation believes that sharing of resources in the pursuit for sustainable development is instrumental in attaining economic growth and social justice. In the context of introducing and bringing alternative options to improve quality of life of the people, Ecological and Agricultural development Foundation, Inc. Play a vital role as a catalyst for growth and development.
